Shai Eliyahu

Shai Eliyahu is an Israeli entrepreneur and investor known for achievements in various fields. Eliyahu began his journey as an independent entrepreneur at the age of 17, when he moved to Ethiopia with his brother to manage the family business across various sectors including agriculture, production, real estate, and construction. At the age of 21, he founded Chicken Hut, a successful restaurant chain in Ethiopia and Kenya. Five years later Eliyahu moved to Djibouti to establish a logistics operation between the State of Israel and various countries in Africa and the Middle East. In 2016 Eliyahu and his brother founded Open Field, bringing global brands to Ethiopia’s construction sector. Open Field managed and developed projects in the real estate and the hospitality sector in Africa by providing solutions including due diligence pricing, preconstruction, material selection input and sourcing, project construction, interior finishes and FF&E manufacturing and installation. Currently, Eliyahu is the owner of Living Group in Greece, bringing his experience and knowledge to the Greek market in the real estate development sector. Eliyahu was born in Israel, he is married to Marina and has two children, Noga and Ofek and a dog named Peggy.
